| how do you dispose of your "used" tampons? flush or toss? |
| Flush |
| Toss at home, or anywhere the pluming seems a little "dated", flush if I'm in a modern building with commercial toilets. |
| if there's a disposal receptacle throw it there. Flushing is not recommend. |
| You should never flush tampons. Ever. Unless you want to put your plumber's kids through college. |
| They are not supposed to be flushed, just toss in the garbage container. |
|
Flush.
Really? I had no idea you're not supposed to. Ack! |
| It never dawned on me to toss them. I have been flushing them for 30 years!!! |
This is what I've always heard. |
|
I can personally vouch that flushing tampons in a house with older plumbing will get you a plumbing call starting @ $150.
I too had been flushing for almost 30 years (unless the sign in the 1877 B & B said not to). Should've made that connection for my own home, I guess
|
is this even serious? you never read the signs beggin women to dispose of them in the garbage and not fluhing? |
| ouch...sorry PP. |
| Toss. Always. |
| Um, count me as someone who had no idea you aren't supposed to flush them. Wow, I guess I've been lucky all this time. Hmmm.... |
| me too PP. |
