I’m 40 and my grandma is 93. My other grandma is 96. The 93 year old grandma lives in her own apartment (senior living but no help) and is very active. She still reads about 5 books a week.

I am 50. I never met my grandfathers, they died in early 70s before I was born, at ages 48 and mid 50’s.

One grandma passed away in 1987 (72 years old), and one in 2008 (84).

My grandma turned 99 yesterday. I am 39. She's still doing great, lives with an aide nearby. Never been sick, drinks wine every day.

I’m 48, my grandma is 100. Lives alone, spends the winter at her home in Florida where she has tons of friends, and is still sharp as a tack.

My Grandma passed away at 99, when I was 43. She passed soon after "recovering" from Covid when her nursing home didn't have the vaccines yet. Perhaps she'd have lived to a 100 if she hadn't caught Covid.

Two other grandparents lived to their 80s. One Grandpa died in his 60s, when I was 5. I don't remember him.

I am 41 and my grandmother is 92. She lives alone and is independent. Born in Europe in 1933 - same year as when Hitler took power. What a life she has had.

My last grandparent passed at the age of 94 when I was 42. I was pretty lucky since all my grandparents lived until I was an adult (the first one to pass away did so when I was 28.) one of my friends was 50 when he last grandparent passed away, in her late 90s.

All of my grandparents (6 of them, including 2 stepgrandparents) died when I was between the ages of 26 and 34. The youngest actually died first, he was in his mid 70s. The last one to pass away was 97.

I’m 53 and my last living grandparent died at the end of last year at 99. She was still living in her home of 60 years with a support person and still had her wits about her. She spoke to all of her children and grandchildren on the phone or in person the day before she died. Having her for so long was one of the great gifts of my life.
