| Joy oh joy. It will likely change to closure by 5am |
| The notice says as much. Prepare for possible closure. |
| It’s a good call. |
| Yep. The 5 a.m. text will inform us that they’re moving from a delay to a closure. They just can’t call that yet based on the current precipitating. The rain has transitioned to snow where I live and it’s accumulating on the grass and cars. |
Yeah there’s just no way school is on tomorrow |
| How incredibly inconsiderate and unthoughtful of superintendent, Thomas and all the members of the board. Doesn’t he know that a two hour delay will ruin my day as a high-powered DC lawyer living Potomac? My clients need me to finalize sourcing a $100 billion deal that will let them send their kids to Harvard on a legacy status? If that deal doesn’t go through, or if we are just slightly delayed as is always the case with these deals, my client’s kids are gonna have to settle for Brown. Brown. |
He lives in the most affluent part of the county. He couldn’t care less about you in Potomac. |
| Well, the universe is clearly telling MCP not to close Wooten |
Right over your head |
Jokes, I get jokes |
|
I don't know why they didn't wait until they had enough snow on the ground to announce a closure. This is just going to confuse people. Sometimes I think MCPS just doesn't listen to meteorologists. It's going to snow heavily in a few hours. |
This response exemplifies how out of touch you people are |
Sarcasm went woosh over your head. |
Please learn the correct spelling of Wootton. |
