| I went out with a friend … she came to pick me up, she had a car I didn’t know how to open the door … I was SO embarrassed … I dont own one and didn’t get in anyone else’s before. |
| Work on being less embarrassed. Her car locked automatically and she had to unlock it to release the car door you were trying to open. That's what's most likely. |
|
No it was a Tesla , I didn’t know what to push in the handle.
Felt stupid. |
| I don’t know how to open them either but I don’t feel embarrassed at all. |
| I don't understand this |
| Why are you embarrassed? No one cares or gave it a second thought. No one is thinking about you. |
| She may have thought how come I dont know how to open it. Every other household here has a tesla. |
|
OP.
You will never get by in life if you're so downtrodden that you automatically assume it's your fault if you don't know something. Perhaps you're not as rich as your friends, perhaps you don't feel as secure in your social position, but the first step towards more success is to assume that it's Not Your Fault. I don't know how to operate a Tesla door either, and FYI Tesla door handles are death traps. China just banned them. |
| Happens to me every time I’m in a Tesla since I can never remember how it works. Please don’t feel embarrassed. |
|
I have 20M$ to my name and don't know how to operate many things, including a Tesla door. I shorted Tesla when Musk did his Nazi salute. I don't want to have anything to do with this man and his dirty businesses ever again. Do I feel bad? No. Why? |
Yes, everyone knows they are super common. It reminds me of Hondas and Toyotas 10 years ago. That doesn’t mean anybody is expected to remember how to open the door handle if they don’t own one. I rarely ride in the cars of others since I’m an adult with a license. Occasionally, I carpool with a friend but they don’t all have Teslas. Some have a BMW, Audi, Lexus, Toyota, etc |
| I'm embarrassed for your friend for having a Tesla. |
| So, how do you open them? I've never been in one. |
|
Ha ha ha op.
I got an Uber with my family and some car arrived that had hidden handles in the back. I thought it was a coupe and started getting into the back through the front door, looking for the lever and trying to push the front seat forward to get into the back. It happens. Especially with these newer cars. |
Oh i wouldn't know either lol, she must get that all the time. |
