There is a brand called Mother’s or something in a plain white bag, black letters. They are good.
Ask the store associate which ones are good. Tell them you want Mandu for sol nal.
Keep in mind lunar new year is coming up, many things may be sold out.

I usually go with the mot expensive ones if jut a one time thing. That extra $ could go a long way. But if not so what.

I can’t read a lot of the packaging at Hmart and I don’t know the different brands, so my strategy is to get a bag of something that’s starting to run low. Hasn’t steered me wrong.

Not exactly the same, but I buy the Ajinomoto Japanese gyoza (chicken & pork) at Lotte Market. They are excellent. My kids eat as a snack, meal, with ramen, etc.

Thanks all. Ended up going yesterday and a fellow customer who was also buying a lot of dumplings from a certain brand helped me out. Told me they were the best (and the were the priciest) so I got a couple or those as well.
