Our daily dose of Trump harassing our neighbors to the north with actions they find "crazy," and losing the respect of our allies.

I don't see how people still don't understand he's following orders from Putin
He's far too dumb to come up with all this stuff on his own Absolutely no way he could even fill out a child's coloring book outline of the 50 states 2/3 correctly. Possibly not even 50% correctly. The bridge has been under construction for quite a while. I think he's worried about his own longevity and is just trying to leave as much chaos behind as possible. If he can't live forever he wants to make sure everyone else who stays suffers in his name. It is bonkers to me that we are living through this. |
| Do the Canadians need to start dumping Treasuries again? Sounds like they do! |
It's bonkers to me that Republicans are doing nothing to stop him. He's alienating our traditional allies (Europe, Canada) and the only ones we have left are the ones manipulating him to alienate our allies (ex: Russia, Israel.) |
He's not following orders from anyone, PP. He's a malignant narcissist currently in dementia. Which means that previously, he wanted extraordinary levels of adulation, but managed to keep it rational. Not anymore. Anytime his demented brain misfires, particularly in the wee hours of the morning, he chews the cud of all his old grievances and starts demanding new shows of abasement, entirely forgetting the multiple previous ones that have been performed. It's the worst of the worst. |
| It is driving him nuts that Canada is moving closer to China. That is the source of the latest nonsense. |
| Will Trump drop his demands if they name the bridge after him? |
Everyone is moving closer to China. Which was completely avoidable if we just hadn't started acting like an untrustworthy nation. |
| He's also big mad that Obama gave the Canadians a waiver to use Canadian steel instead of U.S. steel. |
If I were Canadian I would demand that my country name a sewage treatment plant after him. |
The Canadians, building in Canada, used Canadian materials. Why is that surprising to Trump? |
Canadian here. US steel and Michigan workers were also used in the construction of the bridge. Also, after Canada is reimbursed, Michigan will receive half of the revenues from the bridge. The whole thing is nonsense. |
No surprise there. Trump's every word is nonsensical. |
This was part of Trump's post:

There is not a single country on Earth that can negotiate anything with the US while it is being run by a madman. It is breathtaking how Republicans continue to support this insanity in the White House. Do they all just ignore what businesses and their constituents are telling them?
Never mind. I just remembered Mike Johnson is the Speaker of the House. The GOP is the party of spineless weenies. Useless party. |
