Is a 30 year age difference ever anything but gold digger?

Anonymous
When both parties are over 40.

What about 25 years? 20years?

When there isnt any gold.

Over 40, no.

I've seen some 20 year olds who have a daddy complex hooking up with 40-50 year olds.

No, I guess PP is saying that it's not gold digging when there isn't any gold. I feel like you could argue that with that sort of power imbalance, that the younger one might perceive the older one as having gold in relation to what they have.

Some women marry thinking the guy has money, or as you are saying, whatever they do have it is more than she has.

I wonder if this is prompted by the Super Bowl photos of 84 yo Robert Kraft with his 52 year old wife.

At least she's accomplished in her own right. She still has to lay down with the guy who went to a massage parlor.

I actually dated a 57 year old when I was 24, I loved old guys. He was a good man and made me feel so safe in a scary world.

I had a family member with a 42 year gap. It worked. Wife was independently wealthy too.
