| Anyone else annoyed that Vonn is competing with her destroyed knee? Why not give the next generation a chance? She must know she can’t medal in this state so why not pass the torch and be a mentor to younger skiers? Admittedly I also just generally don’t like her between dating Tiger Woods and her childish social media spat with Mikaela Shiffrin. At this point competing seems like another publicity stunt. |

As an early forties woman, I find her so inspirational! She's skied long enough to know whether she can pull off another Olympics on her knee. She has a qualified team assessing her. It's her call. She earned her spot. The younger generation should've worked harder - kind of embarrassing for a 20-something to lose to a 41-year-old, no? I don't pay attention to social media or her dating life. |

If younger skiers can't beat her then they aren't good enough. You almost understand your bias, you just won't fully admit it. |

| I'm annoyed that after multiple crashes before hers on that course they didn't make changes for the safety of the athletes. I am not annoyed that a world-class athlete has been cleared to compete and might still medal despite not being 100%. |

| I think it’s awesome she’s still competing at 41! She earned her spot and beat the younger kids. It’s not like she’s some old politician that’s using his team, party and clout to prevent the younger generation from even getting recognition. All the youngsters have to do is beat her in a race. |

She cannot make a living except by competing in ski events. What is she supposed to do? Become homeless and broke like tons of other Olympians? |
