The Heights Summer Camp

The Dangerous Camp for Boys at The Heights sounds really great for my son but have heard slightly alarming things about OD generally. Are there any Dangerous or similar camps around here that aren’t affiliated?

Our Jewish kid attended the Heights Dangerous Camp for Boys and had a great time - we'd never have him attend the school, but the summer camp was great

You've got to be kidding me. You really think opus dei would try to convert your kid or something during a week of summer camp? It is a popular camp from what I hear so if you have doubts, save the space for another boy.

No but I assume most of all the other boys would be OD and/or members of the school community. We aren’t Catholic.

That is not what your OP said. You said you heard alarming things about OD. Anyways, no personal experience since my boys are too young but it is a very popular camp. We have some other heights camps and have had a good experience. We are not affiliated with the school.

"slightly"

Opus Dei is a cult there is nothing "slight" about it.

It is a cult that supports Pedos, Women being second class citizens and not voting.

Nothing wrong with The Heights school or its summer camps. Our son has attended and will again this summer even though he attends a Jesuit school. Nice kids and teachers. For all the haters why are you even wasting time reading the posting other than to spew your hate and woke biases.

I’m Catholic but not a fan on Opus Dei at all. My DC have attended plenty of sports or traditional camps at Catholic schools or affiliated organizations (e.g. Knights of Columbus) and there has never been a remotely religious component to the camp. OP, I would call and ask if religion is incorporated into the camp. If not, I would let your kid attend and enjoy it. I had never heard of it before but just Googled and think it sounds like a lot of fun.
