And he went to the wrong house so I had to go outside and help a guy out.

People need to get paid even when it's 18 degrees out. Good for them for helping someone get paid.

I get as many deliveries as possible from Amazon (don't bundle, screw CO2) let those delivery people get paid. LOL

I'm out with my dog for long walks every day. We enjoy this weather. My husband walked to the store; he thought about biking there but was worried about black ice. We did see some people on bikes, out for exercise.

Life continues, OP, even when it's cold. I am fine with school closings, and I urge everyone to be careful outside, but some people LIKE this weather, including me. The delivery person on a bike is probably OK with this.

Me again - however, I would never order a HOT drink to be delivered in this weather!

Do you think Amazon drivers get paid per package?

Per delivery which is why I get 2 packages in 2 deliveries instead of 1

OP here: Me too. I am injured and can't drive so had a walmart delivery this morning but the guy was in a car.

I was just picking up bagels at a place that is typically packed, esp. on Fridays. Fewer than 3 customers when I was there. Any business right now for shops, is good business, delivery or otherwise.

So you’re upset at your neighbor not because of the delivery but because the delivery guy was on a bike?

He went to the wrong house and placed it in the snow as he was finishing the delivery on his app. So I got out there and helped him get it to the right place. ( he was delivering to a very old man who like's McDonald's coffee and has never ordered anything delivered except for mail.

Yes. That makes absolutely no sense when you put it that way.

Feel so sorry for that guy who has to deliver in 18 degree on a bike to make money.
