| Which name do you prefer? |
| I particularly love Julianna, but like both. I have a family member who is Catriona which is spelled like Katrina. I like that spelling. |
| Not Katrina. It’s a nice name but “hurricane Katrina” is the only thing that comes to mind. |
| Julianna. Katrina is nice though. I know one and don't think of Hurricane Katrina. |
| Shay other options and what are the middle names? How many syllables is your last name? |
*what other options |
| I never say this, but both names are great! You may proceed with the naming of your child. |
|
Julianna. Or have you thought about Juliet? I know exactly one and I think it’s beautiful.
Katrina I associate strongly with the hurricane. I wouldn’t use this option. |
| Biased because I have a wonderful Giuliana 😀 |
Anne, Ciara (keer-ah), Jana, Meredith, Simone were other options we considered for the first name, but we like Julianna and Katrina more. The middle name will either be Andrea (family name), Camille, or Simone. We haven’t decided yet. Our last name is 2 syllables and ends in ey. |
Juliet is awful. Please don't encourage the proliferation of bad name. |
NP. Due to the first name being so many syllable, make the middle name Camille or Simone. Andrea is too long. |
| One of these is my name and the other is a family member's name. I vote Julianna. |
| Would you pronounce it Ju-lie-ANNE-uh? If you intend to say "Ju-lie-AHn-a", I'd suggest the spelling Juliana. |
| I like both names, but as the mom of a Katrina, let me tell you only people of a certain age make hurricane references, and it almost always lands like a dad joke. It was over 20 years ago. |
