I live in the neighborhood and this house is listing for $1.1
Other homes of similar square footage on that street have sold for $1.25 all the way up to a max of $1.7 on the other part of this street. Yet this one went in the market a year or two ago for more and didn’t sell, so they pulled it off, and it is now coming soon again at $1.1 What’s up with this house vs the others that have sold for more? https://redf.in/CU7Lui |
| I think it's a unique style that may not appeal to most people. |
| it might be a typo |
| oh wow, that outside. |
| What you’re missing is the bamboo. RUNNNN |
|
Seriously, it’s awful. The furniture makes it worse. The sea of endless white is very bad.
I can’t find any redeeming feature. |
| It’s awful. The floor plan is terrible. A lot of their square footage clearly used to be porches, so I can only imagine how cold/hot the are bc it looks like a cheap renovation. The yard is also about as slanted as a ski slope. |
| IMO, no curbside appeal, any of them, in the cul-de-sac. Yard looks very slopped which would be a non-starter for me. Inside not my style. Looks like the one next door sold in 2019. |
I kinda love it. Are the ceilings low? Only thing I don’t like is the dining area off where it is from the kitchen. And bedrooms are on the smaller side and maybe some of the tinier windows. But I love their taste and how they have everything arranged. |

Yeah I don't get this house at all, and I remember when it failed to sell in 2024.
There is really low inventory in the area, and especially low at that price point. I'll be watching to see if it sells. I think it's smart that they are listing early in the spring - first mover advantage. |
| It’s ugly as sin. |
|
I sort of like it, it has a minimalist scandavian vibe. Maybe not for everybody but there is enough appeal for this style, that’s not the reason its not selling.
Must be something else |
| None of these reasons make sense. I’m guessing there is some structural issue with it that’s being self disclosed so the house hasn’t gone into contract. |
Weird since in Virginia you don't have disclose basically anything but whether the house was a former meth lab. |
| It's got an unusual midcentury style. But the lot is fairly unusable as that pathetic table and chairs in front suggest. |
