Not at all. This is a dark fantasy. It was one of those fics I could only read once because it was so devastating. Just full ugly crying. It’s not romantic. It’s not sexy. I actually think it’s really weird when people thirst over this main character (although that seems to be a small percentage of people). But yes, people hear fanfic and assume it’s smut. Not this one. |

Yes, the original FF version used their names and was called Manacled. The person who is insisting this isn't the case just is not informed. This is common knowledge in bookish circles. There was a ton of discussion about whether JKR got paid for this and the other HP fan fics that got trad published last year. There are scores of articles about it, too.
