At least, as far as they are concerned.
Why are some people like this, why dies it annoy me so much, and how best to deal with them? |

People who are frequently wrong but rarely in doubt.
Or, men. |
| I thought I was wrong once. I wasn't. |
| DH and my mom are like this apparently I attract narcissists because Im an empath. |
So you were wrong about being wrong? That means you WERE wrong. Haha. |
| You don't realize what a burden it is always being right about everything. |
You’re wrong. It’s not a burden at all. |
| Neurodivergent |
Not all of them. We're all various shades of autistic in the family, but my husband is the only one who thinks he's always right. My adult son and my teenage daughter have not inherited this trait, thankfully. |
| They are the same people who lack accountability for anything and blame others for everything. They also don't sincerely apologize, and genuine empathy is not their thing. I grew up with them-mom and sister. Thank goodness I married someone who is nothing like this. |

You called?
Just kidding. They’re insecure and overly embarrassed when they are wrong or make a mistake. At the extreme end you have narcissistic people whose entire sense of self is simultaneously self hating and self aggrandizing such that to be wrong is like psychological death. They can’t handle that tip of the scale. |

Christian Nationalists and atheists fall into this category.
As an agnostic, I am very open to being wrong. Either way. |
DCUM posters? |
Why are you equating Christian nationalists with atheists? Makes more sense to equate atheists and Christians (or any other religion). But as an atheist, I disagree with your assertion. God could prove me wrong and then I’d change my mind. As for you, agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve, so there is no way for them to be wrong. |
