Who here will admit to loving Landman? It’s a huge hit which can’t be denied.
|
| Do I have to watch this if I already watched varsity blues |
|
I can’t say I am surprised no one will claim watching it. It doesn’t fit the narrative, but it’s well written and some superb acting from Billy Bob.
The scene between Ainsley and the roommate was a microcosm of society. I bet they keep that thread going. |
| I like it a lot. |
|
Perhaps the other poster from Midland will weigh in too, but I find it amusing that the place that me and all of my friends could not wait to leave is providing so much entertainment for so many for so long.
Parts of this show ring true except for the central premise. Most landmen are buttoned up lawyer types. |
| Can’t wait for the next season! |
I love it! Super addictive. |
NP. I haven't watched this yet (but plan to). Could you explain what you mean here? |
It’s about oilmen in Texas. |
And it's not woke. |
| I love it. Ainsley and Angela are hilarious. |
| I am from Midland. I tried watching it but it was too painful. For those curious, no, it is not an accurate portrayal of much. |
| So crass, just not my cup of tea. |
Just FYI. Not much is. Friends did not accurately portray NYC in the 90s for a group of 20-somethings. Etc., etc., etc. |
I think their story line is really dumb and unrealistic. I know it's a show but every line they have is just not believable |
