Prove me wrong. They are doing everything in their power to incite violence within our own country.
What's happening in Minneapolis can happen anywhere. And the Republicans in Congress are just allowing it. The Supreme Court is allowing it. The entire powers in charge right now are allowing it. They want this |
|
No they don't actually want a civil war. They believe they can reshape the foundation of this country and the rest of us will just let them.
"It'll be a bloodless revolution if the Left allows it."—Kevin Roberts, head of the Heritage Foundation and architect of Project 2025 |
| We’ve been in a Cold War for a number of years in this country. The modern civil war will not look like the previous civil war. Honestly, I would argue we are in one now. |
But clearly citizens of conscience are not going to stand by...so they do want a civil war. |
| this has been underway since Newt Gingrich was the speaker of the House....the GOP has played the long game while "boiling frogs" of the white working class to blame "the other" for their problems, all while undermining public health, public education, unions and other guardrails that would have normally protected against these things, and had for the better part of 60 years. |

A war require two combatants. Don't fight = no war.
In this country, we make policy not by brute force but through elections. IF you don't like current policies, the appropriate response is at the ballot box at your next opportunity, not through interim violence born of petulant frustration that your preferred policies failed to attract enough voters the last time around. |
Maybe the left could just let law enforcement do its job and stop confronting them and creating chaos and violent confrontations. If there's an argument to be made, make the argument in court. But of course, they want the violent confrontation and chaos, so it will continue. Hard to see how you conclude that "Republicans want civil war" because of this. |
| That’s fine, I don’t think that it would go the way that think it will. |
How many court orders has DHS and DOJ violated? How many laws does DHS/ICE violate on a daily basis? |
maybe ICE could, you know, apprehend people who are actual criminals and not grandfathers who have been here legally for 55 years. and if you want to talk about complying with the law, then why isn't the administration releasing the Epstein files? |
The GOP is ignoring court rulings and fighting the separation of powers, etc. Nice try, though. |
This only works if there is a balance of power and the people are able to hold law enforcement accountable. If we don’t, we get people acting like ICE does. As it stands we are just seeing the Stanford Prison Experiment play out. If ICE wants to be respected, then they have to play by the rules. They need to tear it down and start again. |
How is it that Biden and Obama were able to detain and deport millions without the conflict we are seeing today? What changed? Maybe look into that question and you will understand why regular american citizens are getting upset at the federal government. |
Don’t fight = being placed in concentration camps. Republicans hate and want to kill democrats, blue state, liberals, etc. We have crossed the point of no return. This country will look like Iran did last week. If only the Iranian protesters had follow federal security agencies instructions. Instead they interfered with federal law enforcement. |
Republicans do not believe in democracy or western values. Look at what ICE is doing in Minneapolis. Republicans want a country that is like North Korea or Russia. No individual rights, only the iron hand of oppression. |
