High schools associated with certain clubs

As my daughter gets older, and as the Volleyball at Visi post made me think, what high schools are associated with certain clubs, either through their coaches or the majority of the players attending?
If you want to play at a certain high school, how important is it to play for a related club? |

This is a great question, and I'd love more intelligence from what others seen.
I know O'Connell's head coach is the owner and director for Virginia Elite, so there seems to be a lot of overlap there. Several coaches at Flint Hill are also Metro coaches, so I think there is a lot of overlap there as well. But yes, what about others? |

| Quite a few HSs in Montgomery County seem to have a strong preference for MVSA players. In some cases the connection is evident especially when the HS coach is also coaching an MVSA team. Top players from other clubs make the teams for sure, but politics may decide court time and who starts. |

Read the coaching bios on schools athletics sites and club sites. You may see some mentions of a HS coach working at a club and vice-versa. Here are some connections I've mostly confirmed over the years ... and I'm confident that there are others beyond what's already mentioned: Fairfax HS - Monument West Potomac HS - MOJO Elite Riverside HS - Loudoun Elite (Vienna/DMV Elite prior) Colgan HS - 540 (Technical Coord.) Flint Hill (Girls) - The St. James (Boys) St. Stephen's & St. Agnes - American-North (The St. James and ?Metro-East? prior) Jackson-Reed (Athl. Dir, ?Daughter? is VB HC; Flint Hill prior) - Metro There are also ties between Metro staff and American U. Maybe a few ties between George Mason U. and The St. James boys program. |

Sorry, I misread. The majority of players at Madison don’t play for any one particular club and certainly not the ones their coaches are at. |
