This seems ridiculous. And not completely privately funded.

| It's not a new arena |
| It's absolutely hideous. Just... why... |
Not literally, nut figuratively. It seems like no one finds this interesting, cool, or necessary. And sounds like a stupid taxpayer funded catch |
| It’s going to be too small to attract many big national performers. And an eyesore. |
| Horrible idea. Tacky. And the light pollution is going to be insane. |
| Waaaaaah, I hate entertainment and unique attractions, waaaaaaaaaah. |
+1 Like the National Harbor in general. |
"Attractions?" Really you need to get out more if you call that an attraction! Its sad! |
| You will be able to enjoy Sphere’s digital light show from the Old Town Alexandria waterfront. |
That’s the part that seems so strange to me. What type of event is this mini-Sphere for? Who’s performing at a venue that small?? |
| I will admit that I have never wanted to go to Las Vegas, but was interested in seeing how they did Wizard of Oz in the Sphere. I’m not sure it would translate to a mini one though. But I guess I don’t have as viscerally negative a response to this thing as most of you. |
| Thank God I’ll be retiring as this is done. This build will f’ up my secret access roads. |
| Also why are the leaders so backwards. There is no transportation to this area. Light Pollution, traffic pollution, actual trash, smh. |
| The numbers they are throwing out for job creation are nonsensical. There is no way that a 6,000 seat venue will create 4,750 jobs. That is 8/10ths a job per seat, which is an impossibly high number. I think Alexandria should try to sue Maryland over this project if they decide to move forward with it. |
