| Craving chili but I’m the only person in my family who likes it. I don’t want to make it just for me. Any recommendations for restaurants or stores that sell good chili? Close in VA preferred |

Honestly most canned chili is impossibly salty so I haven't found a decent one.
Hard Times in Alexandria is pretty good. |
| HORMEL Chili Vegetarian With Beans is really good!!! The non-vegetarian isn't bad either but I like the vegetarian one better. |
| Giant sells Ben’s Chili Bowl chili |

| Soupergirl in store or at Costco |
| Wendys |
It's acceptable. DW doesn't like Costco chili, but will eat Hormel brand, vegan or otherwise. |

Look for it in the colonoscopy prep section. |

I am not a vegetarian, but when it comes to canned chili, my go-to is Amy's. They have it at Giant and Harris Teeter. I like the black bean chili best, but I get the "Medium, with Vegetables" when they don't have the black bean.
I am a fan of Hard Times as well, and get a bowl of their chili when I go -- I switch off between Texas and Terlingua Red. I get it with beans. People ramble on about "real chili doesn't have beans," and people really like to go on about how Texas chili doesn't have beans -- but I'm from Texas and I will assure you plenty of us have beans in our chili. |
| Tip- make chili and put it over spaghetti’s and call it meat sauce. Basically the same thing! We alternate between spaghetti and macaroni noodles. |

Because I live in Maryland, I only went once, years ago, but my DH used to work in Virginia and loved Bar J’s chili. The time he took me, it was delicious, just too far from Maryland to frequent.
For regular meals, like the PP, I also love the Hormel vegetarian chili from a can. |
This is me again. To clarify, I’m not vegetarian. |
| Clyde’s is the best |
