How do people afford to travel to Europe numerous times?

Low taxes on the wealthy. Plus $600 r/t airfares and some places in Europe are not that expensive.
Our family has been dozens of times, though we have family in Europe.

I feel that way when I see people with 2 cars that cost 40-50k+ each or beautiful up-to-date houses. How do they afford that? We have 1 car but travel a lot. An airfare of 800$ to Europe is not that expense compared a car or a home Reno.

I’ve been more than 40 times.

We have 2 houses in Europe. An apartment in Paris, and a house in Germany. DH is American and lives in the US 3-6 months off and on for work.

+1 one car, one kid, live in a condo, no expensive clothes but travel 4-5 times/year.

Wages here are higher in US. I spend my money like I did living in EU. The difference between the two is enough to travel twice a year.

And with his 20something sugar baby when he wants a break.

I was thinking of getting a small apt in Paris to have a base in Europe. How feasible is this without EU citizenship? Or, is that where you start eg Clooneys.

Lots of people are more wealthy than you’d think and others have credit card debt.

I feel the same way about people who buy junk food or get takeout or door dash, often when they are already fat or out of shape! How do the afford it? It’s so much cheaper to eat small amounts of simple healthy homemade food.

It was cheaper to go to Europe than Orlando last I looked.

Why don’t you have EU citizenship? It’s easy to get and most of us have it, even the Clooneys, so I don’t think you’re in George’s league.
