Recommend savory recipe to use up dairy

Anonymous
I have a lot of leftover dairy in the house from family visits over the holidays—cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese. Can anyone recommend a savory recipe that will use some of these ingredients?

I use cottage cheese in place of ricotta in lasagna.

Ahhh recalling the food thread not in the distant past where somebody on here said "nobody is asking how to use up [sour cream/cream/cream cheese]. Vindicated.

You can add any of these to scrambled eggs, an egg bake or best idea yet, egg bites that you can then freeze for quick breakfasts. There are so many recipes out there but I would do turkey sausage, cheese, tomato or spinach, onion or scallions, and I would use a bisquick base for stability. I'd probably do a large pan, slice and freeze since I don't have patience for muffin pans.

You can make the spread for garlic toast they make at L’Auberge Chez Francois:
1 pound 4% small-curd, cream-style cottage cheese
⅔ cup sour cream
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
1 tablespoon finely minced shallots
1 tablespoon finely minced green onions or chives
1 tablespoon finely minced parsley, plus more for garnish
Garlic bread or crackers, for serving

Combine the cottage cheese and sour cream in a medium bowl and blend well. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and adjust seasonings. Cover and chill well before serving. Serve with toasted garlic bread or crackers and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

I love making green chile egg casserole for cottage cheese: https://houseofnasheats.com/green-chili-egg-casserole/

Maybe for sour cream you could do twice baked potatoes?

I love sour cream!

It’s good adding a spoonful or two on top of tomato soup, chicken tortilla soup or chili.
Good on most Mexican dishes tacos, burrito, enchiladas , soft scrambled eggs/salsa/sour cream
It’s great adding to cake mixes.
Beef stroganoff
Chicken paprika
Make an easy chip dip ( onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper)

You can mix cream cheese with sauteed garlic, veggies, parmesan and the pasta water to put on pasta. Or just mix it with salmon and spread on pumpernickel.

For cottage cheese, you can make hi protein pancakes -- 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup oatmeal, 4 eggs, 1 t baking powder, add vanilla and cinnamon if you want, blend it all in a blender. I know that's not savory, but we do it as breakfast for dinner with fruit -- it's so healthy.

Sour cream is great for making enchiladas. Mix it with tomatillo salsa and top with some monterey or cotija.

Or also for cottage cheese, look up recipes for Russian sirniki -- they are little cheese pancakes that you can top with fruit or whatever. Traditionally they use tvorog (sp?), but you can sub cottage cheese.

Cottage cheese egg bites are a great option. You can freeze them to use for future breakfasts.

My mom served this when we were visiting last week and it was really good. She doubled the green chiles and added bacon crumbles. She had frozen it and it reheated well in the microwave.

I use sour cream in my banana bread. Otherwise, I use it in dips. My favorite is the Knorr spinach dip (yes it starts with a packet) recipe.
