Do women go strip clubs (w/ male strippers)?

I saw a reference to this in another thread and I literally have never heard of this. Does this actually go on? If so, I'm curious who goes, what the atmosphere is like, and what goes on!

I think it's a sign of growing up in a household with a weak father, or none at all. If you, as a woman, are buying into the lie of female exploitation in the name of sex positivity, you didn't grow up with a strong man in your life.

No. We order male strippers for bachelorette parties on occasion but they keep some clothes on. We don’t like to see everything

Are you talking about male strippers or female strippers?

My GF grew up in a conservative household with a strong male father and a stay at home mom. She asked me to take her to a strip club (regular club with women dancing). My GF enjoyed it much more than I did. She got very excited and was super fun when we got home. There were other women at the club enjoying the show.

I've never known a woman to go to male strip clubs. I've heard it's a Bachelorette thing but never been to one where we went. I'm sure some women somewhere are really into it but I don't think it's common. Like the number of straight women hiring male prostitutes. It exists, but as a vanishingly tiny slice of sex work overall.

Years and years and years ago (mid-'90s) I went with a friend because she enjoyed this and convinced me to go and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced.
