How many of these do you give someone for their birthday? (Yes, it has to be these brand candles)
Asking because people seem to have collections of these candles. One candle as a gift seems too few but three seems too many? Or do you need to give 4-5 to make it a nice gift?
|
| Did this person specifically request that? Because a four-year-old is way too old for that brand. |
|
Get ready for the onslaught, OP.
|
| Do one with something else. |
Yes, in fact they did. |
| For me, zero, but since they're small... 3 candles and another little item like a hand sanitizer from there? |
|
But here’s a warning:
When you give a candle, that is all that you need Don’t pair it with a lotion or some lame little cream A lot of people think two gifts are better than one But that just makes each gift seem smaller and dumb So just give the candle Don't overthink the candle It’s passed to every single woman and most gays We all get the candle We all give the candle |
| One big one and a few small ones? |
Yes this is exactly what can't to mind for me! Amazing. |
| Can you give the candle along with something else they like? A bottle of wine, a gift card for a mani/pedi if she likes those, something from a different store? |
| Four for the forty-year old |
| Are they three wick candles? I think one is fine, I like the White Barn collection. |
They are the three wick. -OP here |
|
This is a very odd gift, and four is way odder than one.
I'd give one, plus a box of chocolates or a bottle of wine. |
|
If they asked for a specific candle, I would get them that. The fact that it's not a brand I would choose is not a problem for me because it's what they want and it's their birthday!
I don't think getting 4 because you think the gift is too cheap makes much sense. You can round it out or up with a more meaningful gift from you if a single candle feels incomplete, but if I asked someone for A Specific Thing and they randomly gave me four of them I would be a little baffled. |
