Former MCPS Leader in Trouble

Sean Bulson used to be a leader in MCPS

I'm not really understanding what he did wrong here.

Is it the fact that he seemingly hired a woman who was a sex worker and robbed him?

Did he not disclose the lost school items?

Having former MCPS administrators fired as superintendents somewhere else is nothing new. Off the top of my head, the following people used to be in MCPS and things didn't work out for them as superintendent for one reason or another:

I don't that I've even heard of this person at Harford County Public Schools and there are probably a lot more cases like this.

One of things that someone told me before was that MCPS had a really reputable name. (most likely used to have) And if you had that name in your resume you can likely get a job anywhere. So maybe it's not necessarily out of the norm that some former MCPS staff members make their way to other school systems, with other stops along the way.

Hmm. That immorality clause has a lot to answer for.

You are forgetting Darryl Williams in Baltimore County and Shawn Joseph in Nashville.

Also forgot Heath Morrison in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. The MCPS-fueled superintendent merry-go-round! 🎠

Seriously, y'all got nothing else better to do other than digging up stories about FORMER MCPS people?

Hmmm looks like Shawn Joseph made his way back to Maryland in PG County:

Sorry, can't get outraged by a consensual meeting in a hotel room, followed by petty theft.

Michael Martirano was previously at MCPS and then went to some other school systems including out of state and was awarded superintendent of the year.

He eventually ended up at Howard County but left likely due to the bus fiasco at the start of the year a couple of years ago:

His "retirement" announcement came shortly afterwards:

Looks like he's the head of Allegany Public Schools now.

Thanks for joining the chat Sean. It was more than $500 so a felony. School system tech/phones were stolen and not reported.

And Eric Davis' (also former MCPS administrator) phone was used to make the 911 call so it looks like he knew what had happened.

It's really easy. They bomb out here and get hired elsewhere. Another example is the MD State Superintendent Carey Wright.

Not our problem anymore. Why do we care? Why bother posting this?
