| People are all upset she complained that after getting a fancy business class seat to fly home from Hawaii she posted on IG complaining about her lack of a window anywhere in her aisle. I've never been to Hawaii and never paid for a business class seat, but gosh darnit if I paid over $2000 for a seat on a plane I would like a window somewhere on that aisle. Sure she has 1st world problems. However, what's with the lack of windows? It's bad enough those of us who fly regular class even for work are crammed in like sardines. If I paid that kind of money, I want a window. I stand with Gayle King! LOL! |
| Poor Gayle. How much misery can one untalented millionaire endure? |
| I know what she's talking about and I miss the windows too. |
| Happened to my son. He's on the autism spectrum and melts down without a window. Was in premium plus type seats on way back from France and there was no window!! Meltdown ensued. Luckily since he was in bulkhead with extra legroom, another passenger offered to switch. If you book a window seat, it's odd for there not to be a window. So, I'm with Gayle here. Although I'm not a fan really. |
| Sad that she can't afford a private jet. Where's the GoFundMe? |
| Agree. It's bizarre and annoying and should be a discount when you get the seats closest to bathroom or seats with no windows visible. |
+1 |
| I agree for regular passengers. I don't really have patience for rich celebrities publicly complaining about the one flight a year they didn't have a great experience on. I wouldn't even do it if I were a regular rich person. It's tone deaf and annoying when shared with a wide audience. She should have just kept that between her and other rich friends. |
She's speaking out for us little people. |
|
I agree with her but also she should have known better than to publicly complain about it.
If that happened to me, I'd privately complain to my husband and my mom but I wouldn't post it on social media because I *know* there are people who would look at at and be like "shut up, you're so entitled." And I'm not famous and don't even have public social media accounts, so the person who would think that would be someone I actually know! But there are people connected to me on social media who could never afford a flight to Hawaii at all, much less in business class, and they do not want to hear me complain about a lack of window on a flight like that. I get it. This is the kind of problem where you complain politely but firmly to the airline to see if they'll give you a discount or at least some drink coupons on a future flight, but you don't go whining about it to the general public. Think. |
| I agree. I vomit if I can't see a window. |
|
It's worse when there is a window but the jaded oh I fly so frequently I don't need to look out passenger closes the shade during take off and landing.
|
Agreed, I hate it when the people in my row close the window then. Or really at any point during the flight |

| She should have looked at a seating chart when making the reservation. They windows are generally shown. And if her assistant did it and didn't check, they will definitely check next time. |
