From good public school, at most with how many Bs, do not bother to apply for Ivies?

| Depends. Only 9th grade or only one semester while undergoing medical treatment, multiple might be fine. Standard story, better to not have more than two or three, I’d guesstimate without a compelling story. |

| it depends on how many Bs the classmates are getting. If you get 2 and 20 classmates are applying with zero then it can be an issue. |

I think my kid had 2 Bs in high school, plus a couple more in HS classes he took in MS. All As jr year. Also there were explanations for the Bs which we addressed in the additional info section.
Got into a school with rates similar to Ivies. |
