| I’m 46 and I don’t know what happened to my eye brows but they are so thin! And now there’s a big chunk out of one with a bare spot! What happened? Is this hormones? A product I’m using? What can I do? I have used grandebrow in the past but I’m not sure I was diligent enough. Castor oil? Microblading? I’m so sad about this! |
| Get thyroid bloodwork. |
| This happened to me once in my mid twenties. Whole chunk disappeared. Eventually grew back just as it had fallen out. Worth following up on at this age. |
| Do you drink a lot and often? All my friends who are big drinkers are losing their body hair. It's very odd. |
| Your eyebrows falling out is a sign that there is something seriously wrong with your health. Probably thyroid but check Ferritin as well. Take Magnesium, Sea Buckthorn and iron pills. |
|
How's your thyroid? Any other health issues?
Just to be safe, I'd consider starting with a doctor visit and going from there before trying to resolve on your own. It can be aging, hormones, thyroid, etc. |
| Thinning brows are normal as you age, chunks out might be something else. First double check your health, then go for microblading. |

I've always had thin brows, but now in my 40s it's aging me. I bought one of those online eyelash serums and I guess it's doing something. I apply the eyelash serum to my eyebrows in the evenings during my nightly routine. |
| Start with checking your thyroid. Also do vitamin D and ferritin. My eyebrows lost their outer third and that was the first symptom of hypothyroidism. I have my levels back on track but sadly my eyebrows never regained their original lushness. |
| +1 to hypothyroidism. |
| Obvi get a health check, but I use Revitabrow for this. |
| For me there was nothing medical just moving into my 40's. I use The Ordinary's brow serum as it doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin, and I have been pleased with the results. |

Id speak to your Derm or Primary Dr on this.
|
| Hair loss like that is serious!! You need to make an appt with your primary asap. It could be anything from your thyroid to leukaemia. |
| Op here. Oh my god, am I dying? I just saw my primary and he didn’t call me about anything unusual in my bloodwork but I’ll call and make an appt to discuss. |
