We also had to pay last weekend for the Alexandria tournament. It was not as steep but we have the money! A lot of kids don’t have $3k - $6k for travel. Small price to pay for enable some kids to play. |

How is paying spectator fee enabling other kids to play? |

I am close enough to see the impact behind the scenes. Besides, they disclose their accounting right in the schedule: Disclosure: Copa Talento is a self-funded non-profit and to help alleviate some of the operational costs, there will be an admission fee of $20 per day for parents and non-players 12 years old and over. There will be no admission fee for players and coaches and there will be no parking fee. No different than private school tuition not covering the full cost of the operations which you only discover when become part of the operation. |

| They charge a much higher registration fee than most other futsal tournaments. So not sure its really enabling kids to be able to play. |

| Changing a venue at the last minute and competing with a United Futsal regional in VA Beach was not a good idea. Copa in the summer was a mess and expensive too. This tournament will be missing all the big teams. |

Lots of top teams. Is that a joke? There are no good futsal teams going to Copa. |
