Serious question… is anyone actually sending their kids to school on Friday, December 19th?
With the holidays basically here, I feel like attendance has to be super light. Curious what other families are doing — going in, taking the day off, or already in holiday mode? |
| Of course people are going to school. There is a very long break the following weeks. Do what you want. Dumb question. |
| My kid has a presentation in an AP class on Friday. But, generally, my kids go to school on all school days. They never stay home "just because." |
| I want present wrapping time during the day so they will be at achool. |
| We have students doing presentations which count as a test grade on Friday. So yeah, students are expected to attend. |
| My kids will be at school unless they're ill. |
|
My HS student will be there. Any time he misses school, the work piles up.
It's easier for ES students. |
| Yes, my 8th grader is attending. Just like he did from K-7th grade. Why would I keep him home? It is a school day. |
| Of course, I'm sending my MS to school on Friday. She's looking forward to it. It's PJ day. |
| I thought it was optional like the day before Thanksgiving |
| Absolutely sending them to school! |
| You have two full weeks off. Why do people need an extra day? Good grief. |
Get back in class, sonny. |
| I hope so because my classes have a summative they have to work on this week and submit that day. I would say 75-80% of kids are usually present. |
| This is a dumb question |
