Jen’s treatment of Remus is grotesque. She’s a teen, an adoptee, and a victim of a recent divorce.

Her mom puts her on blast to 700,000 total strangers every few weeks for “content” saying her daughter’s a total messy, chaotic, helpless shambles with no life skills.

For Remy’s future therapy sessions all she needs to do is pull up her mom’s Facebook page and point.

How does Jen not see this??

I think this is all kind of hilarious. She sounds like Michael Scott in The Office when he was interviewing for that promotion and said his weakness is that he "cares too much and works too hard."

In sharing why she got divorced, it's because she cared too much about Brandon's feelings and put his over her own well being. Isn't that crazy guys?! Thank goodness she took this journey and discovered she cares too much and parents too hard. Phew, what growth!

I just commented on her latest Remy post suggesting she not publicly shame her kid to make a point about her own codependency. I don’t expect anything to happen (except that she’ll delete and block) but I can’t say silent on this one.

The term is based in reality and has tons of merit. I grew up in a home with great parents…and my dad was an alcoholic who depended on my mother to keep our life together despite his addiction. She was 100% co-dependent and it really set a bad example for my siblings and I. So, I’m 100% supportive of the book/concept and have lived it all myself. But JH makes it all “extra” and is throwing her daughter under the bus along the way.

She's awful. She is confused between codependency and how you parent your teen who has been through multiple traumas including being a person if color raised by a privileged, insensitive and entitled white girl. The whole post was gross. I hope she gets family counseling and also gets the girl individual counseling. Perhaps R is depressed? Then you aren't enabling. You are helping her get some normalcy of school in her life. I don't see anything but praise for Jen on there. So gross!

The post could’ve been as powerful and eye opening to other people struggling with codependency without dragging Remy at all. Or give examples for how you did it WITH ALL KIDS so the issue is your issue, not theirs.

And the low key but obvious smearing Of Brandon is gross. Even if he’s an axe murderer you’re still co parenting and existing in the world at the same time and are both notable. And if you can’t have a platform or voice without trashing him, then the platform is what should go, not common decency.

Now she’s hocking some Betterhelp.com “therapy” with a “Jen” discount code attached. There’s several folks imploring her to not promote this business, because, apparently, this organization has come under fire for the way they operate, underpay their therapists, and have some questionable ethics. I don’t know anything about this organization, but there are several posts in this regard. But, there she is again…..it’s hideous and pathetic, quite frankly. She’s doing all she can to stay afloat and to stay relevant. I think she’s circling the drain…. Who gives discount codes out for therapy?? This isn’t a new lip gloss, for fu$k sake.

"Circling the drain" nails it. She used to at least seem much more ethical, down to earth and I thought she had integrity.

It would be good if Big Sis could recommend the benefits of therapy without getting a kick back. Can a girl dream?
