Credit where its due, switching from Capeli to a local store is an improvement. We won't be here to appreciate it of course but credit.

Omg yeah. Those capelli uniforms are straight up garbage. I'll never understand why all the local teams don't use Sterling Soccer and Soccer Post for their uniforms.

The Sterling girls don't want to "pretend" to be Herndon. So there's that. This year has been awful and very few will be back. Such a terrible decision by Sterling management to continue this partnership. I was hoping they wouldn't do it again, but I just saw their post today making it official for tryouts. Would love to see how many show up. Although, some of the local teams new to GA who were relegated to Aspire have ticked off some parents, so maybe Sterling will get an influx at tryouts for those trying to jump to ECNL-RL Herndon. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

The only local org that was demoted to Aspire that I know of was the St James. Were their others?

No one. This season they didn't bother telling us they were partnering with Herndon until we had already committed. At least this time they are up front about it.

I thought McLean also. But, I admit that I have not confirmed that. Perhaps just a rumor.

2011s and 2012s for sure. Not sure if there are others.

Given all the combined age groups going on just one field for tryout, they are clearly not anticipating many prospects.

6 current teams + anyone trying out on just one field for 1.5 hours.

They are having it on turf fields 8 and 9. That's more than enough room for a big number of attendees. I agree there won't be that many, but that is a large space. Typically they do stations for the first tryout day anyway and all the coaches are in the middle.

2011 is a Herndon team. Sterling is playing under Herndon's 2012 and 2010 slots.
