Literally people that fly in from out of state to play in these weekend tournaments. Girls from other parts of the country that are good but don't have lax as a big sport where they from ( think Mid-west/west coast)

Can someone report in on how they do?

Looks like all the 2030s are playing in Chesapeake invitational tomorrow. And it Looks like some of them played in Navy Rivalry today. Stars and CClax playing in both.

It looks like Stars LB beat YJ DMV 10-8 at Rivalry Challenge (according to Tourney Machine), how was the game?

PSA for future reference:

AVOID THE RIVALRY CHALLENGE LACROSSE TOURNAMENT AT THE NAVAL ACADEMY AT ALL COSTS.

It is a complete logistical disaster. They are making everyone go through a security check before boarding buses to the fields and there are easily 500 or 600 people in line. And this is after they make every car pay $20 to park for the shuttle (your only option), which is incredibly cheap and a logistical nightmare in itself.

Easily the worst planned tournament we have been to in 8 or 10 years of doing this.

Haha, you must be new because the Rivalry event has been like that for years. Complain to your club director for not telling you about the logistics before hand.

and they tied cclax. Wonder what happened to them. Looks like they should be in NGLL B league this year.

Not wrong. If you can’t beat the worst team in NGLL A you probably should be in NGLL B.

The word here was their best player went to HG, maybe that’s what it is. They were a pretty good team last year but they were very thin at the top of a small roster.

I'm guessing that with the slide of YJMA, the ranking of teams in the DMV area is BLC, Stars, MnD, YJMA, Pride, MCE

Has Mnd dc even played this fall yet?

not sure. They’ll be good though. May even get better since they are proactively recruiting players from other teams in the middle of the season.

How? Aren’t they basically the same team that was ranked over #100 last season? Who is moving to that team who was other good options?
