Sounds like someone's DD didn't start.

You really don't know what you are up against. In addition to parents, the existing players will not take kindly to a bunch of freshman who expect to start as freshman. My best advice would be to STFU for the next several years and encourage your daughter to work hard to earn a spot.
There is not one person that cares about your advice here.
There is also not one person that said people would be starting.
This whole cluster started because someone said "i would not be surprised if they all make varsity as freahmen" - while talking about club teams. And someone erroneously asked if they were talking about SR. Which had not been mentioned.

Going back through this thread, the club team is obviously the team that everyone here has been bashing. YJMA. Which makes sense because they are a small team and their players all go to different schools and will probably all make varsity as freshmen. But someone here is clearly a fan of the entire 2030 class to make that jump!

Most of the SR girls don’t play on YJMA so not sure these posts are talking about that club. Most of the SR girls play on a different club. 2030 SR class is on 5 club teams by my count.

At the time, the conversation was nothing about SR. It was about recruiting for 7th graders - which the YJMA Club is big on development for HS.

Topic shifts quickly. Gotta keep up.

Is Aces a good team? They only won 1/3 of their games last year.

There are lots of different teams all over the area and many of them can make sense depending on the talent level of the player. If you’re trying to compete in upper tier divisions locally it’s currently only BLC and YJMA nearby or go to Hoco/Baltimore to be at that level.

Yes, Aces Elite is good. With the exception of one game, their losses are all to top 10 teams. Will be interesting to see if their team has gotten better this year.

Jester's switched to using the name of the coach. Which one is the black team?

Not from what I can see. Jesters 2030 black is listed as playing in both Chesapeake and Midatlantic torunaments.

Look at the rankings page. The teams now have coaches names on them.

You're right. Just based on opponents, it looks like the O/Z team is Jesters Black.

Some great matchups this weekend. MND and MDU mix it up with Eagle Stix and Jesters.
Hero's, BLC and Coppermine all play each other.

Heard jesters picked up several new players. Maybe they can contend with some of the top maryland teams.

It will be great to learn how all of these girls and new look teams play heading into this new year. It should be fun.

It will be interesting to see the talent Eagle Stix and Jesters have picked up. Eagle Stix made a big jump last year.

I am interested in what happens in the other A division with HG, BLC, and Cop. If one of those teams can distinguish itself to be better than the rest or if they are all pretty even.

Pretty certain, HG already has.
