What math did your non-mathy kids take in 11th and 12th?

| Why not drop down to on level Alg2. Then can take Pre-Cal and AP Cal A or Stats. |

| No PreCalc if struggling in current class. If unwilling to "drop" to on-level or two year, maybe H Stats next year. Ask kid's current teacher, school's math contact or kid's counselor. |

| My kid is similar. Their tutor teaches Algebra 2 in mcps and has recommended they take Stat next year. |

Is there on level Stats or is it only Honors Stats at most schools? There's also AP Stats but unsure if it's offered at all the MCPHs. |

Hon alg 2 is no cake, mine is taking regular alg 2 (in another district) then it Will prob be regular trig, and then regular calculus I think it’s better and more logical than skipping it all and going to stats |

Some take AP Stats if they liked the subject. Or AP Calc AB. |

OP child is struggling with Algebra, AP Calc AB is not a good plan or even precal. |
