GLP1 - Ellie MD v Midi - Experiences?

Anyone have experiences with either? I’m interested in getting started (need to lose 25 lbs), but I can’t decide which to go with. I don’t like the subscription plan with Ellie MD as it seems hard to stretch out if you’re micro dosing, and their customer service has been non existent.

Where are you getting it and what has your experience purchasing been like?

As someone else commented, there are a lot of people promoting Ellie on Instagram and yet the company itself doesn't even have an account. Makes you think twice but I also really need to find a distributor lol.

I need to learn where people are finding it as well. My insurance won't cover so out-of-pocket I must go.

I use MIDI and so far so good. It’s $200/month for tirzepatide compounded but I microdose and can stretch it out a bit longer. 15 pounds down in two months so far taking less than the lowest dose. Slow and low for me works best and minimizes side effects. The nurse has been very responsive and even replied to my email yesterday re delaying dose over Thanksgiving. I have been pleasantly surprised. And my insurance covers midi appointments but not the drug.

Does MIDI prescribe for modest menopause-related weight gain even without a very high BMI? To OP, I've used Lavender Sky Health for tirzepatide and they have been fine and responsive as needed, but it's not the same kind of care as Midi (who I've used for HRT). I have used Ellie MD for another peptide, but the affiliate model plus Black Friday sales, etc. seemed sketchy so I probably won't use again.

Agree about Ellie MD - hate the affiliate model and the customer service seems terrible. I'm waiting on my order and plan to cancel after 1-2 rounds (don't have too much to lose)

I don't understand, it seems like you answered your own question. You don't like Ellie MD. So why not try the other option?

My Midi NP did. My BMI was borderline healthy/overweight and I'm not looking to lose more than 25#.

PP--What dose of tirzepitide do you take? Are you doing any other weight loss measures? I'm on semaglutide via Midi and lost about 15 lbs over 4-5 months but plateauing and not loving side effects of the higher dose. I'm wondering if tirz would be better.

Orderly Meds doesn't require a subscription. You can stretch it as needed, but you get a bigger discount if you order on a regular basis. Which is great while you are actively losing, and then you can tapper off and the discount isn't as important since you are going longer stretches in between doses.
