Tirzepatide - how long did it take for side effects to lessen/go away after first injection on lowest dose?

If it’s going to go away, will stick with it - but it’s rough. Nausea, fatigue, body aches.

Read this thread, it discusses this issue and the OP is very helpful and comes back with an update.

In the thread I said that my first week was awful, second was slightly better, third was better, and it was about week 4-5 when I started to feel normal and fine. 10 months later I feel nothing around shot days.

I got a little nausea the days right after increasing the dose, but not beyond that. Constipation was a problem the first week or two on a higher dose, but manageable with a Ducolax and stool softener every couple days. My biggest issue was constant low back pain, to the point I had an MRI to be sure I didn’t have a disc issue. That pain was the worst of the side effects, but thankfully went away within a month of stopping the shots.

I was on for 4 months, lost 30lbs, have been off for 6 months and no weight gain.

30 pounds in 4 months -- good for you! I have about the same to lose and I pray I can then stop and keep it off. My diet is good and I exercise a lot, it's all been post kids/perimenopause weight.

I never had any.

It took me stepping up over a month to have any effects at all.

The first injection was the hardest, but each week it lessened quickly. I’ve been on 2.5 for 10 weeks (down 20 pounds!!), and haven’t had symptoms in at least 6 weeks. However, if/when I go up to the next dose, I expect that I will have symptoms again.

I am micro dosing to avoid side effects - Taking 1.0-1.5 for two months now and have lost 15. Slow and low works best for me. I only feel badly the next day after the shot. Dry mouth and a little dizzy/dehydrated. Lots of water and eating Gruns helps.

This poster took the lowest prescribed dose but still a large dose for body to adjust to. Microdosing people start at like a tenth of what that poster took

You have to do it as prescribed. I’ve been on & off Zepbound, and the side effects have been bad enough that I keep quitting. Headache and overall feeling very ill are the biggest issues.

On the one hand you say you have to do it as prescribed yet also say you can’t tolerate it as prescribed. Why not try Microdose

I didn't have side effects, but from what I'm read on Reddit, they do subside after the first couple of shots.
