Signature cocktail for Thanksgiving

Looking for fun and practical (less than 5 ingredients) for a signature cocktail to serve at Thanksgiving. Love using festive garnishes if included in the recipe!

I thought this sounded good (from one of the “Kirstie’s [Allsopp] Handmade Christmas” episodes:

Spiced Pear Martini Recipe
This festive cocktail incorporates the warmth of ginger and cloves with pear and maple syrup.
Ingredients:
50ml pear vodka
15ml maple or agave syrup
10ml ginger liqueur
20ml lemon juice
A sprinkle of ground cloves
Sliced pear and hopped crystallised ginger to garnish
Instructions:
Combine all liquid ingredients and ground cloves in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with pear and crystallised ginger.

How about a sea breeze margarita?
Grapefruit juice,
Splash of cranberry juice
Tequila
Twist of lime
Sugar for rim in a pretty fall color

Or a Paloma but with a splash of cranberry juice added
Grapefruit
Sprite
Cranberry
Tequila
Lime on the rim of glass or cranberry on a stick for garnish

Williams-Sonoma makes a Pear and Ginger cocktail mix that's delicious and you can mix with either vodka or gin. Add a pear slice or candied ginger to the rim of the martini glass if you want to Zhuzh it up but it's so easy to pre-mix with booze (I use vodka) and put in a nice pitcher, shake with ice and pour. No need to make your own

I make my Paloma's with vodka to keep the crew from getting too wild.

I serve sparkling wine with a spoonful of homemade cranberry sauce at the bottom of each glass. It's perfect every time. You can mix, or just leave it to mix as you drink. I don't strain, and love eatting the bit of pulp at the end of each glass.

Autumn in New England Cocktail:
4-6 Sage Leaves
25oz - Maple Syrup

Muddle sage & maple in small tin. Add
.25oz - Apple Cider Vinegar
1oz - Apple cider
2oz - Bourbon

Shake with ice and double strain into DOF over large cube. Garnish with sage.

Some folks don't add the vinegar. It can be left out, but I think that the added acid balances the drink. Perfect Thanksgiving cocktail.

This does sound good — and easier than the one I posted. And thank you for the spelling of zhuzh. I always wondered!

You're welcome! Also wanted to add that instead of vodka you can mix with Seltzer and make a mocktail for those who prefer!

Apple Cider and Caramel Vodka... tastes like a candied apple! Add a slice of apple for garnish
