| DD’s group of friends (and their planned costumes) imploded with bad behavior from girls and a mom. Gross. Tell me we’re not the only ones! |

1) We need more details
2) We do not. It is 11:11 on Halloween. It is old news. Turn the page. 3) Pour a third glass. |
| PP covered it all. |
Are you drunk? |
| wtf you talking about sally? |

Honestly, I hate the group costumes. I’ve seen it cause a lot drama: what the theme will be, who gets to be what character, once the characters are assigned and someone else what to join, they get excluded bc their costume doesn’t “fit”
It’s all so dumb. Just |

I almost want your details because my DD’s group had anger around this for 2 years in a row.
This year dd removed herself from the situation. I know more details than all the people know, about both years, and I will say this: NO ONE did anything wrong. No one is at fault. Not a person. Everyone is fine. But the anger is due to the fact that these girls think they need to have a group costume. It’s so dumb. It fulfills a few of the girls’ wish to look cool for 30 seconds on Instagram. It fulfills about 2 of their needs to be mini sociopaths. That’s it. |

You are.
So what happened though ? |
| One wanted to be Jane Austen and the rest wanted to be slutty nurses |
| Group costumes are horrible. Very big with the middle school girl crowd though. |
+1 So glad my DD in 8th and her friends decided to do their own thing with costumes this year! |

How did your DD remove herself from the situation? Did she just not go with the group? Or was the group fine when she said she didn't want to join for the group costume? |
| OP, I'm really curious about what happened. Spill the details so we can be prepared when my kid gets older. |
