Haven't had a manicure in years and would like to have one before an upcoming event, would like advice about favorite colors? Is gel best?
I'm over 50 if that makes a difference. |
|
It depends what the event is and what you plan on wearing.
I tend to like neutrals (light pink, beige etc) unless I want a dash of color. If that's the case, I like a classic red. |
| From a male perspective: Light pink, clear, or bright red are attractive; dark colors are not attractive. |
|
I like OPI - so Dutch Tulips or Madam President for a red. Cajun Shrimp is my summer go to.
Ballet Slippers by Essie is what people love for a neutral. I don't know the OPI equivalent. *sigh* - I miss getting my nails done. I had to quit for the sake of my budget. |
| Bubble Bath by OPI |
| Burgundy! |
|
OPI Malaga Wine (in red family)
OPI Bubble bath (very light pink very light but looks good on everyone) Both are older colors never go out of style OPI Burgundy is a good one as well |
Are you me? Dutch Tulips and Cajun Shrimp are my all-time favorite OP nail colors. |
| Depends on the event and the state of your nails. Gel or dip lasts longest; if you don’t plan to keep it up or remove it (gel/dip is hard to remove) - neutral will last longer. Choose an undertone that matches your skin and anything will be flattering (cool or warm). |
| I love the autumn colors for nails- burgundy, red, warm pink, warm brown. And it’s autumn! |
| Light pink 🌸 |
| The only tasteful color is clear or a very sheer pink. |
| I always wear Dior Nailglow. It's my signature color for manis/pedi. |
Please stop repeating this outdated nonsense. |
DP. I also like OPI Put it in Neutral. Less pink. |
