So good but sadly DQ’d for lack of Oxford comma. |

| A Bethesda woman held a sign that says “vaccines cause adults.” |
| The only monarch we need is a butterfly. |
| We have a constitution. We do not need a king. |
| Elect a rapist, get f**cked |
| “Honk if you’re not in the Epstein files” |
DP. Here in the US, I was taught not too use the King’s Oxford comma in the 1970s in such a list. |
This is what I came here to say. The sign had fuzzy Pom poms taped on it like polka dots. Clever! |
I saw a variation on this: Only butterflies should be orange monarchs. (I liked the addition of orange) |

“Could someone explain which crimes gets you deported and which crimes get you elected for President? It’s so confusing!”
With that sign being the best of the bunch I saw I just don’t think the “no kings” theme is a good one. Dems - let’s get out there to rally for universal healthcare (come on, can’t we admit with sky high health prices and clinician shortages Obama care may have done some good things but it’s clearly not enough??). Or, let’s rally to end hunger. Or for real immigration reform (which we need for economic and demographic reasons). Or let’s look again at racism. Or the housing crisis? Or let’s stop spending so much on weapons being used to kill people overseas who have done nothing to harm us. I’m pro - protest. I grew up going to protests (no nukes, anti Iraq war, etc) . The theme of No Kings falls flat to me.i want Dems to use the power moves Trump has but for good, not self interest. |
o That sign was outstanding! |
