Strange political times - normally this would be huge news.
I wonder if McConnell has grasped that he's going to leave the Senate and no one is going to care about or barely remember him. |
| He's in the history books, OP. Why the hate? |
Because he’s so hell-bent on destroying our country, he won’t just retire and enjoy his unethically gained wealth. |
Well, he is a scheming SOB that played a large part in our current downfall, but I'm actually remarking that in the past when someone like a McConnell or a Feinstein left Congress it would be a pretty big deal, much talked about, etc. In the current political climate he's likely to barely be mentioned. Lindsey Graham is another one? Where even is that dude? |
| I will remember him for screwing up our country out of spite. |
| The Trump Show takes up all the air in the room. The only GOP politicians who get attention these days are ones who speak up against Trump admin policies, like MTG or Massie. The rest of them are useless rubber stamps. |
| The Senate has no purpose anymore. His leaving is unremarkable because no one needs or cares about Congrezz. They gave all their worth and usefulness to Trump and Stephen Miller |
No pit in Hell is deep enough for him. |
Or the dear leader |
|
He looked shaky for several strides before he fell.
I wonder if he’ll start using a wheelchair. |
He’s so irrelevant that someone started a thread about this in the Entertainment forum instead of here. |
| Fake! He did that to avoid the ambush interview |
But not as the good guy! |
| Isn’t MCConnell always falling down? |
| I’ll always remember him and that POS RBG inadvertently (I think) conspiring to bring about the downfall of the American empire. |
