Well, he is a scheming SOB that played a large part in our current downfall, but I'm actually remarking that in the past when someone like a McConnell or a Feinstein left Congress it would be a pretty big deal, much talked about, etc.

In the current political climate he's likely to barely be mentioned. Lindsey Graham is another one? Where even is that dude?

The Trump Show takes up all the air in the room. The only GOP politicians who get attention these days are ones who speak up against Trump admin policies, like MTG or Massie. The rest of them are useless rubber stamps.

The Senate has no purpose anymore. His leaving is unremarkable because no one needs or cares about Congrezz. They gave all their worth and usefulness to Trump and Stephen Miller
