| Look at the scatterplot in Naviance. Note that those GPAs are for end of senior year. So adjust accordingly. |

| Yup - Naviance is the source for this information. For TJ - they really dont admit anyone below a 4.35 or so ( end of senior year GPA) - so looking at 4.25 to 4.3 end of Junior year.. |

This. the 75th percentile this past fall entering UVA had a 4.5, so you can extrapolate from there, but Naviance is your better tool. |

| Anything under 4.45 at end of junior year is not going to be a sure shot. Last year my son's close friend with just above 4.4 at end of Jr Year did not get in. Got into a T20. |

| CLAS or E School? DeanJ posted again about GPA cut offs - they don't have them supposedly. Can you ask the TJ counselor how many acceptances they got last year? that person will have the most helpful info. Is your student taking the hardest classes available across the board and doing well? |

There's a kid who graduated from TJ who went EA to UVA so the school knows the exact answer. |
