Can ECNL Mid Atlantic be saved?

Anyone else noticing how awful ECNL Mid Atlantic has become this year?

Not sure who is making the schedule but it is absolute joke.

ECNL showcases/events packed with regional league teams and teams scheduled against teams they’ve already played twice in the regular season.

Very little competition in games where teams travel 4+ hours to play.

Awful referees.

Can anything be done to save this sinking ship?

You pissed you drove to Wilmington for a U13 game when you could have played WAGS locally? That is on your club.

Nova needs to align with Maryland Delaware and Southeastern PA teams.

You forgot to mention that all the NC clubs have an A team and a B team in the same division. Laughing stock

No issue with the league games. The showcase events under U14 are not worth it.

Nc courage B team is ncfc. No other B teams in MA.

GA MA full of B clubs though.

2 Charlotte teams
2 NCFC teams
Highland and NC Fusion already in battle for last place. Throw most Wilmington teams in there as well.

I see you really have an axe to grind about ECNL Wilmington - FCDelco poster here and even with the crappy weather it was great getting to play GSA yesterday. 2 very good teams in very sloppy conditions, but that's not on the tourney directors. Actually lucked out it wasn't a total washout.

You mean to tell me that out of town ECNL events are now including RL teams? Makes no sense, what is the point? If you want to play RL teams there are six or seven right here in your own backyard.

As the parent of a U16 boy who has played in both MLS Next and ECNL, will say that if I had to do this all over again - I'd refuse to travel more than 3 hours one way for a match. There is just no need, and all parents should ban together to say "stop it".

Why do we all need to band together? If you don’t like it, you’re free to join another club. You’re acting like someone’s forcing this on you.
