| Am I just overlooking it, or is the PVS Open Fairland/MD not on MM? |
| I see it listed. But I don’t see the Ashburn site listed. |
| It looks like they may have combined the results for MD and Ashburn, which…how??? |
| There is no Ashburn site. It is at Claude Moore. |
| This happens every year. Right now the Fairland meet is on MM but it is showing a mish-mash of results from Fairland and Claude Moore. They usually fix it at some point on Saturday. |
| Still not working, right? |
| Yeah, there is no Maryland site up right now. |
| It’s up now as PVS October Open 2025-Fairland |
| As of 1:30 pm, the Claude Moore meet is labeled “PVS October Open - Fairland in Laurel,” but click on it and it says Claude Moore. |
It says Claude Moore but still has Maryland swimmers. I don’t see the Claude Moore swimmers anymore. Sigh. We just have to wait. |
| This matters more now since MM (and SWIMS) are potentially the only place where PVS will consistently publish results, even if the MM times are unofficial. My child tried to see her time on the board, but it usually changes before he can see it. And timers are always off from the touchpad. |
Timers are generally within a couple of tenths which fits the definition of close enough. |
This is completely false. PVS is still publishing results on its website- just in PDF form instead of hytec form. And PVS is giving the results to every participant team. Don't worry- your swimmer will get their time, no matter what happens with meet mobile. |
This isn’t a PVS complaint. The issue is also the VSI-PVS overlap, and doing block parties at Freedom and other venues in VSI prevents PVS from having to pay the encroachment fee. Block parties are NOT published on PVS website. And now they are only on SWIMS. So Meet Mobile is one of the only ways to get results from block party meets (which PVS is not using in the way USA Swimming imagined and, instead, are using as an end-run around the VSI venue fees). |
Results from the Machine Distance Run meet, held last weekend, still aren’t posted in the PVS site. Not even as a pdf. |
