Is anyone else addicted to facelift content?

I am talking about stuff like this:

https://www.instagram.com/nayakplasticsurgery/

Instagram keeps serving this to me and yes, I know it's because I am watching it. Are there really many frumpy old women turning into respectable looking 40 year olds?

Me! I cannot stop watching Dr. Nayak. It seems too good to be true though. Where are his patients getting the money?

Yes!

Made my husband watch Marco Rubio on face the nation this morning just so he could weigh in on whether or not he has had his eyes done.

I am amazed how many of these women look like they have given up on their appearance entirely only to emerge looking decades younger and often more beautiful. Anyone considering doing this?

I would in a heartbeat if I had a spare $250,000 lying around.
Does anyone know how long the results last?

Keep in mind that a lot of these before pictures are post large GLP 1 weight loss. That's why these women look so aged. They have a lot more drooping and loose skin than they would have had if they had never gained weight in the first place. Combine that with the typical 'before picture' lack of makeup and unflattering lighting and it looks like these women have neglected their appearance which may not have been the case. (Unless you consider the weight gain to be self neglect in which case let's skip that debate today.)

GLP-1s have greatly increased the demand for facelifts, breast lifts, tummy tucks, etc which is why you're seeing way more of this content than you were a couple of years ago.

Full disclosure- I lost 70 pounds with GLP 1 and had a bleph and brow lift earlier this year to bring my face back to where I wanted it to be.

but aren't you kind of trying to look younger/better than you ever would have been, even without the weight gain?

i lost a lot of weight, too, and i am considering various interventions. but if i am being really honest - just being what i would naturally have been without weight gain/loss is now not enough.

Yeah, obviously I want look better than I would have if I hadn't spent thousands of dollars on my face.

It's just that without the weight loss I probably could have made do with a bit of filler or waited another ten years before the brow lift.

if you spend the money, you want the results, I get it. what I am asking is something different - did the weight loss change your aspirations?

Honestly I don't know. In my case it was IVF and baby weight and my twins were only 3 years old so I was mostly motivated to feel sexy again after that whole ordeal. I did not and do not want to look like a fat, frumpy, middle aged mom.

I did feel like I deserved to treat myself after all of it which is why I spent the money on GLP 1 and the plastic surgery in the first place.

34 and even with Botox the droop is happening (especially my eyebrow fat pads lowering and getting jowls / the start of turkey neck) but not enough to warrant a full face or neck lift.

At the point where I kinda want it to get a lot worse? so I can just get a full facelift to work its magic vs this purgatory zone.

I get so frustrated with facelift content because they’re always showing me people after 10 days and I don’t care about that at all, I just want to see like one year later. Maybe they don’t have an appointment then but I wish they would pay them to take photos or something.
