I am amazed how many of these women look like they have given up on their appearance entirely only to emerge looking decades younger and often more beautiful. Anyone considering doing this?
Keep in mind that a lot of these before pictures are post large GLP 1 weight loss. That's why these women look so aged. They have a lot more drooping and loose skin than they would have had if they had never gained weight in the first place. Combine that with the typical 'before picture' lack of makeup and unflattering lighting and it looks like these women have neglected their appearance which may not have been the case. (Unless you consider the weight gain to be self neglect in which case let's skip that debate today.) GLP-1s have greatly increased the demand for facelifts, breast lifts, tummy tucks, etc which is why you're seeing way more of this content than you were a couple of years ago. Full disclosure- I lost 70 pounds with GLP 1 and had a bleph and brow lift earlier this year to bring my face back to where I wanted it to be.
but aren't you kind of trying to look younger/better than you ever would have been, even without the weight gain? i lost a lot of weight, too, and i am considering various interventions. but if i am being really honest - just being what i would naturally have been without weight gain/loss is now not enough.
Yeah, obviously I want look better than I would have if I hadn't spent thousands of dollars on my face. It's just that without the weight loss I probably could have made do with a bit of filler or waited another ten years before the brow lift.
