Yes, because they're more comfortable to me. I made the switch years ago. They're mostly cotton thongs from Target, so definitely not designed to be sexy.

I have exactly one black and one white which I wear rarely when an outfit requires it. Maybe once every two years. Otherwise not at all. I’m 47 and I’m very good waspy shape with a pretty fit butt, but I’ve always found them extremely uncomfortable. Either they aren’t gripping my body enough, in which case the gusset in front is also not sufficiently held in place so it’s not even covering my vulva. Or the thing is gripping my body, and riding up my butt in a non enjoyable way. I have always preferred low rise briefs or cheekys, but definitely something that covers my butt.

Yes, almost exclusively. I bought a pack of 20 black cotton pairs. I live in FL and find regular underwear too hot.

I have the opposite of a flat butt. I have a very Kardashian butt. Try to imagine underwear that stays on that butt with a small waist. It all ends up in your buttcrack anyways.

Thongs are so much more comfortable than wedgies because it's less fabric and doesn't show. Anyone who questions the comfort can just pipe down. You're not us.

I also made the switch a couple years ago and now I can't tolerate regular underpants. I have really light cotton ones and I don't feel them at all, and all of my pants/dresses/skirts fit better and look more flattering somehow.
