Why does Winsome Sears...

...only talk about transgender issues.

I do not support biological men in women's sports and don't feel great about them in the lockerroom either.
But it is not my top issue at all when voting. And it seems like this is the only thing Winsome Sears is running on?

Because she has nothing to run on besides culture wars. It’s pathetic when we have real issues in Virginia. Our economy is taking a direct hit from trump’s recklessness and nova provides much of the state’s revenues. Our unemployment rate is up, housing inventory is up, job postings are down. Meanwhile trumps health care cuts are going to drive up premiums for everyone. And his tariffs have already resulted in higher costs at the grocery store and more. It’s a mess and Sears has nothing better to do than attend school board meetings to rail against a single digit number of incidents. Very odd and out of touch. Meanwhile Spanberger wrote an excellent op ed in today’s Post that shows she is actually focused on economic issues that matter to all of us.

It was a winning issue in 2001 and 2004, so she is running on what got her to the party.

Meant to say I also agree that transgender kids shouldn't be in locker rooms with the other biological sex. But this issue is nowhere near the top half of my list of issues. Would be great if she cared about the economy and the rule of law given the attacks they are both under from Trump and other republicans.
