Fort Hunt house — why hasn’t this sold yet?

Seems nice. Too pricey?

It’s a pretty horrible location - on a busy street, next to often used baseball fields. It’s also on of those skinny homes that a few ft hunt developers keep squeezing onto ever narrowing lots. For that price you can get a much better location in the area

It is directly next to the Baptist church and the baseball field. It would be a loud and traffic-ridden residence versus being just a few houses down the road.

The lot is huge. How much room do you need on the SIDES of your home?

Meh. Just another shitbox flip with a roomy, but otherwise crappy yard with no mature landscaping. Overpriced.

the lot is deep but it is skinny. There's not even enough room on the side to do an appropriate landscaping buffer to shield the fields

Price is crazy for the location. Love Fort Hunt but the commute, schools, Rt 1 don’t support the price at all. Can’t imagine pulling up to a $3M house after running errands on Rt 1 while fending off druggies and John’s.

It’s always the price. For 2.67M, I could get this same-sized house in McLean with a pool and tennis court. Yes, the kitchen and probably bathrooms need upgrades. But with the difference in price, I could easily do that.

I don’t understand how the lot is “skinny”. A normal setback is 16 feet from structure to adjacent property line. This has at least that.

If only new landscaping eventually matured and didn’t stay small forever.

new build and no HOA!? Gold. Any house without an HOA is worth a 30 pct premium. HOA’s are the epitome of evil.

Wow, it really is right next to the baseball field! For $2.9?

It’s not Nats Park. They probably have a couple of LL games on Saturdays for a new months. Big deal.
