| Anyone watching this? It’s the new show on Netflix with Jason Bateman and Jude Law. I’m three episodes in and enjoying it so far. |
| I want to! |
| I was bored during ep 1. |
| Yes, it meanders a little and the heavies - Junior and Babbit scenes are both stressful and dull. But Jude Law and Jason Bateman and the ensemble cast are watchable, its an atmospheric NYC narrative. Sometimes it is way too dark to see anything on screen and a lot of episodes have been directed by Laura Linney. |
| I could not get through the first episode. I found it boring. I love both actors so it was disappointing. |
It takes a while to warm up |
| I finished it. So convoluted at times and inconsistent. But watchable. |
| Playing against type might be a fun stretch for the actors but I just kept wishing the roles were switched! |
| I dislike Law’s accent. Why couldn’t he just be British? |
They are not playing against type. |
Jason Bateman certainly is. Wish they had someone with a little more dirtbag charm and less clean cut guy cosplaying in that role. Jude Law’s role/casting I’m fine with. |
| Haven't seen it yet but I have the hots for Jason Bateman. |
| Its boring it was a chore to get through episode 1. |
He was playing a man who was born and raised in Coney Island.
